FS: 4 17" Crown Spokes with Dunlop Runflat

I just picked up my Mini at the dealer today and switched out the wheels/tires as soon I got home. They have about 35 miles on them, so they are practically new. These are the 17" Crown Spokes wheels with Dunlop SP Sport 01 Runflat 205/45-R17 84V tires.

I am asking for $800 with local pickup in La Verne (Los Angeles County). If after a few weeks, there is no interest locally, I will consider shipping them.

Here are a few pictures. They are just like brand new. PM me or email me at lostchildnospam@fastmail.fm (remove nospam from email address). Thanks!

Bump. They are going on ebay and craiglist next week. I will also throw in a set of 4 original Mini wheel bolt locks that came with the crown spokes. I have no use for them since they won't fit my aftermarket 18" wheels.

Bump. Is no one at Los Angeles interested? I got some offers to ship them, but I really would rather have them picked up in person.

Yup there are still here. I am so busy that I still haven't listed them on ebay or craiglist. I already got a long list of people wanting me to ship them, but I just don't have time to find the right boxes to pack and ship them. I don't want them to be damaged during shipping, so I am trying to avoid shipping them as much as possible.

The wheel locks maybe going though. Someone asked to buy them so they maybe gone soon.

With respect, you don't need to box to ship. Get a couple-three pieces of heavy currogated, cut to diameter of tire. Put two on the wheel face and one on the back, wrap radially with packing tape, and you're off. The only surface(s) you're really too concerned with are the wheel face and back, the tread is meant to deal with road surfaces in all kinds of weather, so it can handle the interior of a shipping truck! They ship as a 43 (or so) pound package, 24"x24"x9".

I am worry that the wheel surface could get dented. I have a daily UPS pick up account and I have seen UPS drivers throw boxes around. If I were to ship them, I would have pack them carefully with bubble wrap and padding and all.

And here we are.. 3 months later.... I still have the wheels and tires! I completely forgot about them until I started to look for the X'mas lights. Anyway, I just put them up on craiglists.

PM me if you are interested in them. They made great X'mas gift for your Mini!

I worked at brown. Use some THICK cardboard if you are going to ship them as prescribed. I hate to say it, they won't make it unscathed other than in sturdy boxes.
