Incredible! Three thumbs up for the Helix13 team for their generosity! Glad I got my order in when I did! If its ok, I would like to call in and pay off my balance this Friday once I see my paycheck is in my account. One less bill to worry about paying off later.

Just got my order in. Great to hear I could still get the price at $579 even though it already oversold. I also plan on doing my own install. Thank you Helix!

Got your email Rob,

Wasn't sure if you wanted me to reply to the email or on the forum. Please continue to put me on the GB list. At this price, a few weeks wait is worth it!

Yup, and we didn't even hit 30+. Helix sold out of the 20 units they currently have in stock, so they are giving everyone the $579 shipped price until March 1st.

Something tells me they underestimated the demand this time around...

Did both tubes as well as installing the M7 piece for the H2O temp sensor at the same time.
As usual costs will vary depending on which tubes you opt for. MINI MADNESS makes a short section of metal pipe to install in the HOT side OEM tube, it eliminates the "muffler" section, that will save you some bucks. HERE IS A LINK
But that muffler delete pipe costs more than a whole boost tube from Alta. Is there something wrong with the one from Alta because of too much silicone? I guess it's too late anyway since I ordered mine.

What's the story on the M7 Temp sensor piece? Is that a good mod to do at the same time?

What exactly is the problem with earlier cold side tubes? I wasn't planning on the cold side for my 2007. Should I be?

I went with NM because I wanted a clean look. Not saying silicone isn't a clean look but to me metal just is. I debated long and hard between alta and NM. That delete pipe was a no brainer NOT to get because the cost to me was way to high. Just my opinion. Ill post photos after my install of the intercooler and NM tubing is done

Exactly what I was gonna do. I wanted to buy the Alta but realizing if it's my daily driver and in snow, rain, and hot sunny days, I think it's better to go with the NM boost tube.

IMO, I think it's a waste of money on other stuff you could buy such as a Forge DV and other minor engine components.

Since I have an auto, I am gonna stick just with my 2.5" magnaflow(got my muffler and tips) with 2nd cat delete(resonator is off). I wanted a DP but I will be limited to a tune. Jerry at NM said I can go between a Stage 1 and Stage 2. But look forward to the video of your exhaust on one of these threads!

Defiantly will put one up. My only question is I am running into an issue with finding an ECU. Living in Minnesota I am very limited. Also NM won't get rid of the error code from the downpipe.

Buy the Delete-R from Waymotorworks. It's like $249.

I can do that but I know an ECU tune can erase that too. NM just states there flash upgrade won't remove it. I guess I could buy it. Lol

I'm number 8 so I'm good! March is a busy month for me. I'll be putting this FMIC on ASAP and then shipping my ECU off to NM (for the 2nd time since Dec) to go from Stage 1 to Stage 2. That's gonna get done the last week in March while I'm out of town vacation so I won't need my car.

I've also heard rumors that my car club buddies are trying to put together a fund to split the cost of the DDMWorks exhaust I want for my BDay (Apr 2)...

Should be an interesting spring!

As we said in the OP, we're going to deliver the coolers immediately at the end of the group buy, on March 1. Because of a run on Helix intercoolers, we're going to have to scramble and make more. Those of you who had deposits in before this weekend (the first 20) will get delivery as scheduled.

If your deposit has already been processed, you will be receiving one of the 20 we have at the 30 intercooler rate: with free shipping at the extra special price of $579 instead of $599. We will also honor this special price for any orders that we receive between now and March 1st, but delivery will not be immediate. We have placed the core order, and have told our welder to prime and pump his machine so we can have them really soon.

Don't let this stop you from placing a deposit for the $579 price though. Once the group buy is over on March 1st, the price will go back up to $749. So, if you don't mind waiting a few extra weeks, the deal can still be had.

Good deal. I think I was the second person to deposit money :P Can I go ahead and pay the difference now?
