Just shoot me an email with your preferred email address for PayPal and the city where your parts will be shipped. I can send you each an invoice for a CAI at group buy pricing + whatever other part you need.
There will be only one spot left in the group buy if you guys join-up!
Best,
-Clint
Got mine today. I didn't expect for it to come until end of the week.
Clint,
Thank you for such a smooth process
I'm waiting for MiniMe2011 to get his so we can do the install but I'm so inpatient right now that I may just have to do it tonight!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the only reason that MiniBOL got his CAI earlier than everyone else is because he opted to pay full price and forego the group buy schedule. This option is open to anyone who joins a DoS group buy and does not want to wait until everyone is all paid-up.
MiniMe2011, I checked with my vendor it is likely that your red silicone couplers won't be here until this Saturday. The shipping time for these from the UK was much longer than anticipated. I'll go in to the shop in the morning to make sure that your order ships.
Best,
-Clint

My DoS CAI. I forgot to take a picture of the bulkhead panel it came with. Install took about an hour and 45 mins last night.

Clint,
I noticed that the CAI came with a cover with a hole plus the actual CAI cover I ordered. I decided not to put the actual cover. Do I need to take off the black cover with the hole? I wasn't sure and I forgot about it since I was such in a hurry to finish the install.
Otherwise...WooOOSh! = SWEET!

One Spot Left in the 6th and Final 2011 CAI Group Buy
Thank you to BigMiniAl and TheFunnyguy for joining the Group Buy!
Only one spot left before we build this batch of CAIs and ship them out.
Grab that last slot before it's gone!

The CAI cover with a hole is a restrictor plate that knocks down the bulkhead port size on the CAI. We've been including this part on our CAI's since mid-summer 2011 to improve low-end torque while still allowing for induction from the zone behind the bulkhead.

Good to know. Glad I didn't remember taking it off then.
Install was pretty smooth (minus lining up the panel), thanks to the simple instructions. Thanks again. Is the BSH OCC as easy install as the CAI? If so, I'll be contacting you soon.

Hey Clint - Just wanted to let you know that after 30+K miles with the DoS CAI, I'm still loving it, and I haven't had to clean the filter yet!
For everyone that is still vacillating on whether to get it, do it, you won't be sorry.
Trust me I was talking with Clint on and off for a couple of years before I finally purchased it. The install is very straight forward and you can't beat the group buy price.

Come on ladies and gentlemen, possibly the last group buy of the year. Treat yourself to an early Thanksgiving present. Join us, take that one last spot. You say you already have one? What better gift to give than a DoS CAI for a friend or relative...I know they will thank you!

The 2011 CAI Group Buys have concluded!
Dear DoS customers and friends,
I shipped out the remaining orders for the final 2011 Defenders of Speed CAI group buy yesterday. If you are one of the lucky folks who participated, check your email for shipping confirmation and installation manuals.
Thanks to all who participated in the DoS CAI Group buys. Though it is uncertain as to if we will continue offering this promotion in the future, we certainly appreciate your support of our company. Thanks so much to you all for making 2011 a great year for Defenders of Speed!

Clint, CAI looks great, but i have one concern, which may be irrelavent... looks like the intake is subject to rain water... is the space where the intake draws air from dry when it rains? i use my R56 as a daily driver in rain or shine, so its something i have to consider...

Don't worry about the car. Just take care of your family.
Good luck and our prayers are with you.

We offer a hydrophobic wrap for the DoS CAI filter, but even after hundreds of customers we have never had any water ingestion problems with our CAI design. The air inlet in the apron panels is well shielded, making it a great additional air source.
Don't hesitate to PM or email me if you have any other questions.
