UNFAIR--I can't make it for the open house---I live and WORK in PA. How about a traveling show and bring your goodies east?? How about an out of the west discount?? When my Clubman S arrives get your order pad ready!!!!!!!

LOL we had to pick some weekend. It prove very difficult with the superbowl, AMVIV and all the events y'all at PDXMINI have planned during weekends in Feb and March. Hopefully you can still make it later in the day.
A traveling East coast show is NOT out of the question. We should be at The Dragon this year and may try to incorporate something on the east coast too. Don't hold me to it, but we'll try. Order pad is ready.....just give us a call.
Limited.....No. But for those who can make it and are looking to purchase some of our products, they will be rewarded greatly with a huge sale. I don't see why we can't have an online sales event too. Perhaps a one day sale as well. Look for updates here and on our web site. Thanks for the good idea.
Thats great! Are you a part of a car club? I will gladly ad you to the Club list in the original post if you are. Let me know if you need help locating accommodations. Once i get the official announcement up on our site today i will have a link to local discounted accommodations. Also....If possible can you guys shoot over an RSVP email. It helps me keep track of the numbers. Thanks, See you there

That will be great if you can help us locate accommodations as we are planning to stay over one night for some Portland shopping.
I will drop a RSVP e-mail to you as soon as I get a confirmation on how many of my members will show up.
Thanks.
Any updates on if you'll be providing a schedule of events? Like Scott, I'd like to try and make the PIR event and the Opening Party. Two birds with one stone when I try to convince the wife for a day off so I can play with my car
This is John's response to my question.........
I have to go with a pretty loose schedule because we still don't know what the total numbers will be. Ideally festivities will start at noonish. Feeding people and tours will be the two that could take a while. At the same time we will have a dyno tech session too. For those who want to do the drive I think we will probably pull out at about 2:30 or so. Most of our staff will stay at the shop so we will still be open for those who come later or just don't want to go on the drive. As for closing, realistically we will stay open for as long as people want to stick around.
I will be at Alta first and then we have a few that are going to PIR. You are welcome to join us.
See ya there !

From the vendor announcements page:
"We had MINI Coopers from all over Oregon, Washington and even British Columbia. We even had the rarest of rare stop by and use our dyno…A JCW Competition Edition Cooper from British Columbia. (They only made 64 of those)"
Cool. That's me and my 2006 MINI Cooper S JCW Competition Edition #19 of 64 made. Isn't that a mouthful for such a little car?
And that's my car and my husband on the Alta video in the dyno section.
Would love to come down annually. Yes, I agree with what John said late Saturday: summer when the weather is virtually guaranteed to be good. I say virtually because this is the west coast, after all.
Many thanks for the hospitality Ken, John, Jeff and Adam and everyone else who gave up their Saturday for us. This includes spouses I hear.
Ending up on the same day as the PIR opening worked out great for us. We got to do three spins of the PIR track and then get dyno'd. What a great day!

Thanks Alta and crew. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the crew and touring the facilities. Installed my air diverter last night and looks and works great. Love the inter-cooler spray option! I know our club (PSMini) kept you guys working late with installs but it didn't go unnoticed. Everybody is raving about the mods and the drive home was a hoot!
+1 for the thanks from PSMINI members. Adding the exhaust to my growing list of Alta products on my car was the icing on the cake. The pulley, CAI, OCC, Sway bar and exhaust make my MINI a monster!
Thanks for feeding us, giving tours, and installing late into the night. I, for one, vote for this as an annual event (with similar sale prices, of course).
