JCW brake pad DUST

Is anyone else tired of the dust from the JCW big brake kit? At the moment their is not an aftermarket Mfg. who is making a replacement set of pads that I am aware of. I sent Aaron at Out Motoring an E-Mail to see if Hawk or some other vendor would be willing to make replacements for these brakes. We thought it would be a good idea to start a thread here and over at MINI2 to see if any of you would have an interest in these replacement pads with less dust and hopefully better performance. Aaron would use this information to prod the Mfg. along. So if interested please post your thoughts. Thanks Steve

If you send Carbotech the pads, they will resurface them with any compound you want. (they sell a lot of them!)

Give them a call. http://www.carbotecheng.com/

I'm in for any low-dust JCW brake pad options from a major brake manufacturer.

I would also like some options for the brake rotors/discs. I understand part of the reason for the brake dust (and the excellent braking of JCW brakes) is the "soft" rotors.

Of course I would be interested in a replacement pad that provides the same or better performance while at the same time having less dust!

After looking at JCW BBK I decided to go with the one from Detroit tuned. It was less money than the JCW, included 12.8 inch sloted front rotor, Outlaw four piston frot caliper, ss lines, and front Hawk pads. Compared to OE there is almost know dust. Total cost = $900.00
