Centerring rings on OZ wheels

Anyone running metal centring rings on 18x7 O.Z. Ultraleggera please advise. They seem to be only available in plastic. Check in all the regular places (ie DiscountTireDirect. Anyone have custom ones made?

It seems OZ wheels use a special centerbore and no one seems to carry a hubcentric ringset to fit it.

Really? Where did you purchase your wheels? Was told by Alex that OZ wheels only come with plastic rings. I wonder if those metal rings would work on 18" Ultraleggeras.

Mine are aluminum I think, not plastic. I had to get custom spacers made when I had the BBK put on the front. I got mine from Discount Tires, but mine are Supers, not Ultras.

My guess, is that they have changed the center bore on the new Ultraleggera wheels.. Do you know what the center bore size is?

All my OZ wheels have always come with metal hub centric rings that clip in and never come out.. I guess OZ might have changed something..

68mm CB. I was going to have custom ones made, but Alex has asked me to contact him. Hopefully he has news of the metal rings that everyone else seems to own.

Still metal

FWIW the OZ Ultras I just ordered came with metal hubcentric rings. The rings have a wire snap ring that fits into a groove in the wheel itself. They can be easily removed by hand but it's enough to keep them in place when removing the wheel. May not sound like much until you've ever had to chase down a ring in the dark while changing a tire on the side of the road.
