I just got some Goodyear, F1-GS-D3's, 2 weeks ago and happened to go back to TR's web site to check some info and found Goodyear has a $40 cash card offer on April purchases, so I'm unexpectedly getting $40 back . It's not unusual for them to have some kind of offer, maybe 2-3 times a year it seems like and they vary in $. $75 was the best I remember seeing some time ago.

I got the 215/40/16 just to try for autocrossing, in STX, and will be using them for the first time this Sunday on my 16x8 ce28n's.

edit, 4/23. I got 5 runs, felt like I drove well on my last three. I'd say these tires are .5 to 1 sec. slower than my 205/50/15 Azenis on 15x7.5 SSR's on a 37 sec. course, on a dry mild (80 deg.) day. The front tires were shaved to 5/32. I still have hopes for cold (45-60) or wet. The tires behaved well in the autocross but ride hard on the street, a function of this size with it's XL rating, as previous 205/50/16's ride great.

they were on special for $95 each... $40 off per tire. But the fine print says qualifies for tires bought from in stock tires... We'll see if they let me have the card.... That would be sweet. It would be like getting them for $85 a tire!

I bought the GS3Gs when they were on special for $95 each, but it was an April purchase.... I just looked and the 215-45YR17s are back to $135 each (off special). That's $40 a tire.

Man, I just looked at Tirerack and the tires are $125 each. You still get the $40 rebate but.....

ps, my purchase was one week ago, and no, I haven't seen anything yet.

 

I just bought a set of Weds Sports TC 005 wheels (14 lbs each) with 215/45/17 F1 gs 3g's. I got the tires for $95 each. I hope I am not dissapointed with them. I also hope the 215's look right on the car.

Well ummm, uhhhh my local dealer came real close to meeting the price of Tire Rack and since I like to deal with the locals I went with them. That's why I was wondering if the rebate was a Goodyear or a Tirerack one?

So the Goodyears come in at $85 a tire! Yowza! Anyway, it looks to be a goodyear offer. I recieved a form, and I need to include a copy of the payment invoice and send to Goodyear.
