BFGoodrich g-Force Sport?

I need to replace my tires I want to replace the 16 inch OEM’s with BFGoodrich G Force Sports, 225/50/16. Grand total for replacement will be $500.00. It sounds like a deal.
I am looking for an all around tire, no snow driving and here in New Mexico there is very little rain.
Should I do it?
Anyone have experience with these tires?

Not a bad tire, I've had them for about 20k miles now. Do well in the rain, havent tried them in the snow (sounds like you don't need them for that). They seem to be wearing well, I rotate every 5k. The only complaint I have is that the older they get (ie more worn) the noiser they become.
Hope that helps,

Nik

Stock size 195/45/17 (I think that correct, going from memory here ). As for noise and tire wear take a look at the Toyo Proxies 4.

I have them and like them. They do decent in autox situations as well. I live in AZ so can't really comment on anything but dry road conditions.

stock size is 205/45

btw, G-Force Sport is a SUMMER performance tire, not designed for snow, so for god's sake DON'T USE THEM IN THE WINTER!!!

I've been running on BF Goodrich Traction T/A, V-rated 205/50/16'sfor the past 20K miles. It's a solid All-Season tire that I will be putting immediately onto my '06 when it arrives.

My last set of tires were the G-Force Sports. 205/45/R17... Their tread pattern didn't look that aggressive but they were actually an excellent high performance summer/dry tire for me. The tires seemed to wear quickly at first, then they seemed to stay about the same for quite some time. The tire was very sturdy with square edges even until they were almost bald; my new BFGoodrich KDW2 are a lot louder and their outer edges rouned off very fast. I started liking the tires even more (on dry pavement) as they got less and less tread; I also liked their quiet ride, even when they were warmed up. However, a lot of my buddies who autocross their daily driver car are now in mad love with a brand new tire; the Azeni Falcon RT-615, give those a good look because those are what I'm probably getting next.
