My car is DS/DS and not sure what color rims to use.
I like the Kosei K1-TS, don't know how grey wheel would look on my car.

I think grey wheels would look so good . I love seeing cars with colored wheels(not silver), it makes them so much more interesting IMO. I think with a DS/DS MINI you could either go black, grey or silver. I've even seen a few DS cars with gold or bronze wheels and they looked really good.

I would also take a look around in the gallaries. I know Samtrack has a DS/DS MINI with grey ssr comps. Also MarkBradford has a DS/B MINI with grey oz superleggeras. These are two really, really nice looking MINIs and I think the main reason they look so nice is because of the DS with grey wheel combo.:smile:

 

You can check my gallery on MINI2.com for DS/W with silver wheels. If I were to do it over I think I would powder coat them a nice dark anthrecite (you know, brake dust color)

otherwise, silver looks good on SOME wheels, not all... also, i think gunmetal or anthracite would be good

the only wheel i'd suggest against is white

 

I went with gunmetal for both my street ( Hamman ) and track ( Ro-JA LT-5 ) . The seem to get a high approval rating

To me, the best looking wheel on a DS is an anthracite SSR Comp

I think black, gray or gunmetal are good choices. This is a real personal thing though. Ever time I think I don't like a color combo I see a great example that changes my mind. It also really depends on the wheel and the look you are going for. A guy I Autocross with just put a set of bright red wheels on his Blk w/ Blk MCS, I would have thought I wouldn't have liked... it but it look amazing.

 

I've got anthracite Flik Bullets on my DS/Black S and I like them. You can see them in my Gallery entry.

 

for me, black wheels are always TOO black...but that is just me.

I think on DS the anthracite wheels are fantastic. I also think a set of dark bronze would work well too....

Samtrak's SSR's are once of the best looking wheels on a DS, IMHO. Too much for my wallet, but a great look!

I love the ASA AR1's, wish they came in anthracite...
