Thanks!

FYI:

The CP-035s are:

15x7 = 9.4 lbs
16x7 = 10.8 lbs
17x7.5 = 13.0 lbs

By contrast, SSR Competitions are:

15x7 = 9.2 lbs
16x7 = 11.0 lbs
17x7.5 = 12.7 lbs

Not the lightest, but not bad at 14.lbs, Kosei K1 TS for $199 at tirerack. The SSR Competitions are $339. 17x7. Come in light gray, silver or orange. 42mm offset fits fine on my 1.5 drop.

SSR comps are $389 a piece now. I just looked them up in at the TR site. I am considering a set to replace my SSR GT1s.

I have my money on magnesium volk TE-37s. You have to custom order them and they cost a pretty penny, but they are most likely the lightest (and softest for that matter).

I've never seen them in a color other than blue, wonder if that's the only color...

Thanks, Theo. The manufacturer's site didn't list any 17's in 4x100 bolt patterns, but I've seen products from other companies that weren't shown on their websites. Meanboy, where did you find the 17's? Thanks.

The standard forged aluminum TE37 is best known in white, the MAGNESIUM TE37 I have only seen in blue. I'm sure they come in other colors, but why is the standard color blue....

Meanboy, I didn't see the CP-035s at Tire Rack. Are you talking about the SSR Comps? Those are well documented.

Steve,

That's what I thought you were asking about the SSRs. I don't know anything about the other wheel.

Since I gave the incorrect answer on the offset I felt committed to finding the answer to the question of the offset of the 17x7.5. According to the chart, the 17x7.5 is not offered in a 4x100 bolt pattern.
