how does the tire pressure sensor work? (runflat sensor)
and where is it located for each wheel?

It senses if a wheel/tire combo is rotating at a different rate than the others.

and so the sensor must be in the hub on the kar for the wheel?

It probably uses the same sensor as the ABS/ASC.

just hold down the button with the car on till it stays steady and then drive it about 50 feet light should go off
