Ooo, can I add to this? (I hope you don't mind) - do the wheel locks specc'd to fit the stock rims fit all aftermarket wheels?

You can get the factory lock bolts. I got mine from Classic Mini for under $30.

Do these use a key like the OEM BMW ones? I'm had those once but ended up replacing them - not big on the key with the bulky cover

They use a small key the size of a lug nut. It comes with 2 keys. they are black and looks to be nicely harden so the teeth can withstand the proper torque.

Coolest thing about the oem locks is that there is a recess built into the top of the stock tool kit in the boot. It is the only space unoccupied, and putting the factory lock tool in there completes the kit!

I have a set of used factory locks if anyone wants them.

$20 shipped. PM me. :smile: I used it only once, about 1k miles
until I got the SSR's. I don't use locks now.

Why did you decide not to use them with your SSR's? I have Comps and was considering them

My car is garaged during the week and only take her out on the
weekends. Only park at the dealer, gas station, or at a MINI meet.
no need for locks.
