OFFICIAL INFO CONCERNING E46 M3 CSL Replica Wheel

Hey, how's it goin'?
Just got off my email folder and have recieved two emails concerning the wheel mentioned in this thread. The place for purchase is Modbargains.com. These wheels are so tight and hook up like no other! Okay anyway getting serious, I got done talking to the co-owner of modbargains and velocity motorsports, and he said:
"Thanks for your interest in the wheels for your MINI. In order to start production with the different offset and lug nut setup, and size, it takes about $10,000 in research and development. There is also a minimum of 100 wheels for the production - this means we need at least 25 people seriously interested in purchasing the wheels in order for us to consider production. If you can get enough interest in the wheels, let me know and I will get this going for you.

Thanks,
Mike Brown Co-Owner, www.modbargains.com"

So in order to get this wheel I need 25+ people interested and on my list. He also e-mailed me how much they would cost. He said that they would be between $699 and $899, depending on how many people are on my list. The more the less the price. So try to spread the word, it will benfit you. PLEASE if you are in the market for buying wheels consider these.
Here is a pic of them on a MINI just to get you going.

Thanks in Advance
Mikey

BTW My hopefull tire and wheel combo: These wheels and Nitto NT555 tires!
I guess you could almost consider this a group buy.

didn't specify. just I guess what's most popular, we have to go with just one size though! I'm thinkin' seventeens. not too small, not too big. I'll let you guys decide that though.

Wheels

I'd be interested in 17x7 or 17x7.5 if they are quality wheels with a reasonable weight.

Modbargains says they're the best replica wheels goin. Here's a link to the site. And here's a link to Velocity Wheels, the manufacturer.

Enjoy!

i like those wheels and all (cant ever go wrong with mesh  ), but Like EVERYONE has them. not MINIs..but like every other person on E46fanatics.com just got a set of these wheels or are about to get a set of these wheels. when it comes to wheels, I would rather be unique.

when I look @ other people's MINIs or vehicle for that matter, the first thing i see are the wheels. that is the single most eye-catching thing to me. i just feel that i would rather not see the same wheel on every MINI. my .02

I responded on Mini2 as well, but I would definitely be interested in this wheel in a 17" size. An 18" size - not so sure.

Weight

According to the link, the 18x8.5's weigh in at 24lbs each, what would the 17's be?

Like I said, I will let you guys decide what size you want. I am impartial. But if I get 20 orders for 17s and 5 for 18s I will side with the 17s.

I would be interested in either the 17X7.5 or 18X7.5 however, they MUST look like the ones in pix.

I believe in these wheels. Some said that they are too common but if you look at it, if only we get these wheels, they are not common at all, less than 50 people in the world will have these rims on a mini!

1 week until spring break!

Concerning : Nuzzo Wheels

judging that they are sponsered by BBS, I would have to say that they are either BBS RCs as shown here, or specially made for them. But thats not the subject of this thread!
