New to the board but looking at getting a GP. The first thing that has to go are the wheels, too large and too heavy. All black might be a bit too dark for my tastes but your red, inner lip looks hot. Here's a liitle PS work to show it on the car.
Do you think its possible to get a clean look with the inside painted red? I think the soft curves in the inside would make it look messy and amatuerish. What do you think?

MSFITOY,
Where can you get these vinyl cut outs? Could they custom cut it for you? How much do you think these would cost for all four wheels? Sorry for the stupid questions. I'm a noob.

BTW, love your ride!
This would have to be a DIY...it's simple...just follow the steps...
1-get a roll or enough of the color you would like...you can buy a few feet of this from any sign shop
2-make a template of one area to be applied from thin tracing paper
3-transfer the template to a thin cardboard and true up edges/border to get a good fit...test fit on the wheel
4-scan this into pc and duplicate as many times as needed and fit onto one sheet
5-print/trim and test fit one pattern
6-if all goes well, proceed to step 7...if not, go back to step 3
7-spray adhesive onto pattern and mount to back of vinyl sheet
8-trim out each pattern with sharp exacto blade or scissors
Palo Uber's.. the 18" variety.. (on my "to do" list)
Colorized for Astro Black, white roof, and some blingy red mirror caps..
Does anyone know the weight of these wheels? Do they have any 17x7 in this size? I've tried to check on the axis website (I'm guessing they are the ones manufacturing them for palo uber's) but seems they don't have much info on the weights on their TC EVO line. Thanks in advance.
One thing i've determined while looking thru this thread... i no longer like black with polished lip... to 1990's or something... i can't put my finger on it exactly... but all black looks nice, if you're gonna go there

I agree, I don't see the point of a polished lip, but all black looks a little plain. That's why I put the red graphics on my Pro race 1's. Post #127.
How did you put the red graphics on your wheels? Are they vinyl stickers? Did you cut them yourself?
They are vinyl. I got one from Team Dynamics when I picked up my wheels and I had my graphics guy make some. They come with white application paper on top and are made to perfectly fit the curve of the rim. First take the wheel off and lay it flat on a work bench. Then place the graphic on the rim and tape it across the middle of the graphic with a thin piece of blue masking tape to hold the graphic in place. Then from the left side I lift up the graphic, peel the backing from left to right back to the blue tape in the middle, cut it off, stick the left side of the graphic to the rim using a credit card going from right to left. Then I remove the blue tape, lift up the right side of the graphic and peel off the rest of the backing going from left to right. Then stick the rest of the graphic to the wheel using a credit card going from left to right. Now remember the white application paper is still on top of the graphic. Then take a credit card and rub the white application paper going from one side to another in order to get the graphic to stick to the wheel. Next slowly peel off the application paper, leaving the graphic on the wheel. Next and most important, I cut out thin clear vinyl to go over the graphic. That is pretty easy to do because the grapic TD gave me was the exact size and shape to fit the rim. So I used it to trace and cut the clear. Then I spray the graphic and wheel with windex, peel the clear, place it over the graphic and smooth it out with a sponge. The windex allows you to move the clear to get it in the right position and smooth out any bubbles. The clear is so thin, you can't see it from 5 feet away. They last a long time, I had some on my 17" TD wheels for 35,000 miles and they still look like new. Without the clear the graphic will come off when you wash the wheels. The whole process is pretty easy but its time consuming. About 45 min. per wheel after you have learned how to do it.
Nice wheels! Are those the matte black? They seem a little shiny.
They are a matte. It's not what I would call a typical matte finish. In the shade they appear matte and in the sun they appear a little glossed. Tough to describe but im a big fan.
Thanks for the comments guys! and the season is here for news shoes and skins so keep em commin!
