Anybody have any ideas on possible 5 spoke wheels for a MCS? I'm pretty much sure I want to get chrome wheels as I've bought the exterior and interior chrome package on the Mini I've ordered. I may consider 6-spoke wheels. I've looked at the Zinik Ikeda Z5 and the ACE Manta as ones I think I'd like... Is Zinik a decent brand for wheels? Anybody have Zinik or ACE wheels on your Mini?

I believe those are OZ Ultraleggeras F1 Matt Black ... not powdercoated.

You may want to search for a chrome wheel thread, or check out the wheel gallery - this thread is for black wheels so others may not respond. (Don't get me wrong, I love chrome though mine are currently black.) I may be off but I am under the impression that Zinik makes flashy blingin rims and I dont know much abou the quality other than that and I know nothing about ACE.

octaneguy...i'm so jealous of your Flik Bullets. I ordered some back in November and just found out that they were discontinued. That is the style I am looking for, and I just can't seem to find any that I like as much as those. Excellent choice.

I wanted to do this with the black MINI and they didn't carry the wheels anymore! This looks great! I guess I could still spring for the PIAAs, but I like these better... drooool...

 

I know, bad photoshop. I just wanted to see how it looked with the inside paited red.

 

New to the board but looking at getting a GP. The first thing that has to go are the wheels, too large and too heavy. All black might be a bit too dark for my tastes but your red, inner lip looks hot. Here's a liitle PS work to show it on the car.

 

Thanks! It's certainly one of those decisions that I was glad to have jumped on when I had the chance! Sadly I had a slight run in with a curb while in Vegas at SEMA--less than a month after I had the wheels. I was so MAD I emailed Edgeracing and never got a reply--but not seeing them on the site, I figured either it was discontinued or being redesigned as some of the other Flik wheels. Sad to hear it was discontinued.

So I fixed the wheels with some sandpaper and flat black paint. Looks good as new. LOL.
