Your car is hot, but I'll be willing to give up one of my "puppies" to have a garage like yours

SWINGMCS03,

Try sizing your pictures smaller. Then use the little mountainscape button
(visible when you reply) and insert the URL of your picture on the pop-up
when posting your message. Then the picture will show on the thread.

Hope that helps.

How did you get such a good deal?? Are they new or used?

Good job shopping for them either way

Greg

One of the guys in the Sin City MINI Club had them on his PS/B JC Works car. He mentioned a while ago that he was getting different wheels, so I told him I wanted them when he took them off. He showed up at our Hoover Dam drive yesterday with black S-lites on. Hit him up for the wheels and he said $300. My immediate response - "Done."
I get them tomorrow night. And my wife is out of town tomorrow. Might have to see what the handling difference is.

Yea, well we hate you!
Just jealous of course! I could always use a third set for a deal like that!

I would like to dechrome my S too. By what process are you doing it i.e. type of paint, application, primer, etc. Is it relatively easy or is it worth paying someone to do? Thanks.

I am using SEM brand paint in a can, trim black for the side grilles and emblems and a gloss black for the filler cap. It is pretty easy it just takes time for all the prep work. I sanded down most of the parts with 180 grit and sometimes used 220. headlights, window trim and door handles are the only thing left!!!!!!!!!!!
