Newbie needs aftermarket wheel advice..

I have the Brembo GT kit installed, and currently run the S-Lites with spacers in order to clear the brake calipers. Having bought the car this way, I actually don't know what spacers I have, believe it or not. The current clearance is surely at the minimum 3 mm or maybe even a hair less. They barely fit. the car also runs on aftermarket springs that lower the car to what appears to be an inch or so.

I would like to replace the wheels with aftermarket 18's, but am unsure where to start on the internet, finding what wheels will clear a brembo kit. I don't mind the spacers.

Some of the wheels I like are the O.Z. Racing Superleggeras, the Exel TZ 10's, the Axis Seven Mod and a host of others.

My wallet puts me closer to the level of Exel wheel more so than the OZ's at the moment.

Suggestions as to where to start research?

I know someone on here is running the SSR Comps w/ brembos and no spacers..you can find the wheels on the rack.

i emailed alex about which wheels the rack offers that will fit the Brembo 320mm bbk, and to name a few, the SSR GT1, SSR GT7, and the BBS RD are able to fit. The RD's are only available in 17"...both SSR wheels are available in 18"

Good choice with the TZ 10s, they are a great looking wheel! If you want my two cents, I think they're the best choice for your car w/hyperblack finish. Those will also really show off your brembos, and are light weight so you'll be not all show but a little go too..

I hope you pick the TZ 10 rim it's awesome.

Good Luck and Happy Motoring!

Thanks! But I think I don't want white wheels, as my car is black. I do appreciate the offer though

We have the same taste, I was considering the Superleggeras until I stumbled upon the TZ-10s. I originally liked these Binnos but I can't find much info on them and they're probably heavy..

I like those wheels on the red mini you posted, alot. I especially like the front lip spolier, but I would never get out of my driveway! It scrapes as it is...

Wheels for Brembo

I also have the Brembo BBK with S-Lites. It took a 30mm spacer to make them work. So far, I have only found a few 17" wheels that will fit without spacers. Ronal makes their S-38 and S-39 in 17" that will fit without spacers. There seems to be quite a few 18" wheels that will fit including the SSR GT1's and the Ronal RT in 18". These are the ones I am looking at once winter is over. If given a choice, I will run 17" as I like the looks of 17 versus 18.

I know the Team Dynamics, pictured above in white, will clear, but they are a 17". They are also available in High-power Silver, Black, Silver, Bronze and Anthracite.
Hope that helps!
