I'd say go for it. I'd paint the entire rim though, not just the inner part.

I like the idea, but I'm not to be trusted. I'm considering a LY with the interior LY as well, and the red leather seats!

Even though no one I've spoken to has actually seen a picture of this, I've been told quite clearly that it might be just a bit "busy."

But, maybe a different shade of orange and get the wheel rim as well?

Currently I've got:

15% Pulley
Alta Intake w/ tube
Denzo IK22 Plugs
Lowered with H-sports
17" Konig Holes
MTH Tuning
16" R84s are my winter wheels

not sure whats next....maybe the orange wheels

Black S lites would look nice!

I'm thinkin' maybe if you were doing something else in orange it might more fitting. Right now....and I know Photoshop isn't the actual representation....it looks a bit random to me. Now, if a graphic (with a ton of orange) was being done or something like that, sure. One of the John Cooper Challenge cars sported orange wheels, but other orange bits were part of the package as well.

I do think its very good to think outside-the-box on these things, but I also recommend coming up with a comprehensive program for the car's styling, even if its carried out in phases.

Cool man, I say go for it. JDS has a good point about maybe adding a graphic to it too, that would look look pretty cool.

I think if you have more orange on the car, it could look
pretty good.

Nice idea. There was a time when people thought a silver car with black wheels looked dumb However, you might consider how your overall composition will balance out. You have two dominant colors-dark silver/white, and two subordinate-black/chrome. Adding another dominant color to the wheels can muddy the palette. Maybe if the white was substitued for the orange...naaa...forget I said that Sorry, don't have a solution for you right now. But keep the idea going

I agree with jds and MSFITOY, could be interesting but not as a stand alone. How about the mirror caps orange and mix some orange checks on the white roof checkered flag style. Or some other roof graphics in orange to tie the whole look together.
