Yokohama run flats tire pressures?
17 inch Yokohama tires with 51 psi printed on the tire. These are run flats. I am currently running 48 psi and dont mind the ride or little extra noise. Im also a new owner and who knows may tire of it one day, but probably not, since my other two toys are land barges and float down the road.
What are other people running for pressures?

The psi on the sidewall is the max pressure for the tires. The starting numbers you should be running are on the drivers side door frame label or the owners manual. 48-51 is way high, not sure what Clubman you own but likely somewhere in the 30's is the proper psi. Having too much pressure is not a good thing to do for your safety, nor is too little.

I've always run my tires on the high side for pressures. I've gotten excellent wear out of all of them. I may have to reevaluate that with these run flats. It's a 2009 S model. First time with this type of tyres I have had Yokohama tires before, on a civic, and wow what a difference that made.

36-38 psi is probably a good pressure to run for a MINI for street use.
If you run higher for cold pressure you can get more wear on the middle tread area- just check for that but you said you had not noticed it.
The side markings for higher pressures as mentioned are only the limits the tire can take not the working pressure for you to use. Note that compact spare tires run with a much higher pressure and are designed that way.
