White R90's are in!

I got the R90's painted white. They look cool on the new HB/ White Mini... hopefully there will be a blurry picture attached to this.

What do you think?

And sorry the pic sucks camera's battery died after that picture.

Very nice!!! But I feel sorry for you if you plan on keeping them white all the time! I've got the 5 stars and wiping the brake dust off is an every day task--those R90's have lots of nooks and crannies! Hope you got some EBC Green Stuff pads on there!!

But it looks fantastic!!!

I have Todd's BBK with the Wilwood Q compounds. That'll get installed after I get the JCW kit put on 10/26 (hopefully). That should stop most of the dust. I also have a set of Kosei's that I'll be putting on at that time which are easier to clean. The R90's are going to be longer trip wheels since they have the runflats. My commute to and from school is about 2 miles so it takes a while to get too much dust on there.

The white R90s look great.
The TCE pads should help.
Try some wheelwax from tirerack.com on them and see if that helps a bit more- the wax repells dust from sticking and lasts about a month.

They look awesome! I love the R90's but could never consider them because they were not white. (Are they making them white now or did you get them painted? What was the cost?) Please take some more pics when you get a chance so I can drool some more.

I got them done custom. Cost... about $500. I was told that if I wanted to do it again the cost was going to be $600-$650 though :-(

The real advantage about doing them custom is that if I wanted I could have done a two tone wheel to match the car. HB outer rim with white spokes or the inverse would have been awesome!

Painted because I wanted them to match the rest of the car. I also had problems with getting the primer off of other BMW wheels for powder coating in the past and didn't want to deal with it.
