Tire replacement and leasing??
Tire replacement and leasing??
Has anyone replaced runflats with non-runflats and is leasing? Is it ok to return an mcs at the end of the lease with nonrunflats or will there be a problem??

??Will the dealer say I need to have runflats on the car or will they take the car back with non-runflats??
Look to Options
With MCS residuals, it's a stronger financial option to sell, rather than return at lease-end.
Returning at lease-end gives the dealer "open season" to charge you extra for non-perfect items, - leaving you to fight them hard if you disagree, Fidge. I'd guess a dealer would charge you extra returning a lease vehicle with non-standard tires. Why? Because they can & there's $ incentive. I do not know for certian, though. Why not call & ask your dealer?
Check your payoff number online. Get back your deposit, likely pay sales tax once you buy it from BMWNA/MINI, but 10-to-1 says you come out ahead (or at least "even-stephen") by selling your baby. Doing so abrogates all rules & regs of your Lease contract.
Thus, get whatever tires you wish, rack-up extra miles, add some mods, etc.
Good luck, all around!
