Thats not possible. Michelin Pilot Sport Plus was launched in 2008.

If Michelin had the correct DOT numbers, then Michelin should have advised him to replace the tires due to their age. Just Sayin'...

I've had/have MPSS 17" tires for awhile now and they're the best all around tires I've ever had. No problems what so ever. I also run M A/S 3's 16" which I think are grippier and awesome in the rain, but not as smooth as the SS tires.
