What exactly do you mean by "better:?

For looks, I think the 7 hole version looks the best. ..

I have the 7 hole wheels, they look small and girly...but they're very light!

I like and have the 8 spokes. They weigh just over 15 lbs (maybe 15.1 or 2 or so) whereas the 7 holes weigh maybe 3 lbs less or so. But I think 15 lbs is still not too bad for weight. Less weight is better though.

I vote for the holes...IMO that design fits well with the rest of the car, like the circular headlights and all the circles on the dash.

I have looked long and hard at both the 8 spoke and the holies and my choice is the light 12 pound holies. I'll mount Kumho Victoracer V700 205/50-15 tires and head for the track in my MCS very soon. Cost was $119 per tire from tirerack.

Both are the same size. Weights are 15 and 12 pounds each rim.
Looks? I like the holies. They are no nonsense.
Show me the track!

I think the holes are the best looking factory MINI wheel... and the weight with vavle steam but no center cap is exactly 12 pounds 2 ounces.... as weighed on a computer controlled shipping scale. Hey I had to know!!!
