What do you guys think of these wheels? I'm going for bling, not making the car race ready.

The two don't have to be mutually exclusive, get yourself some light weight bling Those wheels would look good on a MINI though.

I think they look good. Should look even better if you get some
larger brake rotors if you plan to get 17's or 18's.

The wheels are chrome, although they come in silver or anthracite with a polished lip. My car is IB/B MCS with aero kit and painted wheel arches.

Those Falken chrome wheels will look really nice on a IB.

Get spinners, and no i'm not joking. Think about it, you're already buying heavy wheels, might as well get something nice with some wow-factor, some sprewell racing spinners would look pretty dope on a MINI.

i was looking into these wheels in antrhacite because i think they look sweet, but a couple things i didnt like where that they are really heavy, and the offset on a 17 is only 40mm and might rub when lowering the car.

just my opinion.

Koolmini, they are Falken wheels. I haven't been able to find their weight anywhere, but I'm sure they are not very light.

Sprewell spinners, nice!

They appear to be Falken Torque 5 rims in chrome
$222 each rim
http://www.edgeracing.com/product/wh...5bb9cb5fa4be37

Size: 17x7.0
Weight: 24lb.
Price: $256
Special: $222
ID: 1594
PCD: 4x100.0
Offset: 40mm
Finish: Chrome

Note: if you have stock suspension you will be OK for no rubbing.
If you have H-sport springs your max offset is up to 42 mm so 40mm is likely to rub in the rear. Rubbing may occur more or less with different tires. Yokohama ES100 has a square shoulder and may easily rub.

The same rim in 18x7 (25 pounds) or 19x7.5 (26 pounds) has a 42mm offset.

My suspension is stock. I've ordered the wheels and should have them on the car in a week or so. I'll post a pic then.

I would check out the Ace Alura in 17 x 7.5 for $145.00 each. They look good but no rivits.
