Jacques, you may have just done enough to convince me after being on the fence for a while. My rims are just too black, especially from a distance, against a black car with red roof and mirror caps. And this is a whole lot cheaper than the red rim JCWs, to get a little contrast, for a short while at least.

I finally got to see a set on a car close up when I was out in Cali in July and I was suitably impressed with how 'non-cheap' they looked in person.

And to the OP - rock n roll for starting this thread and taking the flack instead of me! ;-)

 

I offer a cautionary warning: I haven't even applied my replacement rimblade, and a second one has come off the rim. I'm going to contact the domestic distributor (Gobadges) who have been awesome so far as customer service matters go, but I'm alarmed that that's two of the 4 gone already, and they were (as far as I can tell) correctly installed...
