Looking at the ESM-015 wheels will the 20 offset work?

Hey guys, I wanna get the ESM-015 17 inch wheels in white for my 2006 Mini Cooper S R53. I am running 205-45-17 tires. The only thing I am concerned about is the 20 offset on these wheels. Anyone know if they will fit on these tires fine and the wheels will bolt on without any modifications (ie. spacers to make them fit). I just want to bolt them on and go, not have have to make them fit. Thanks for your replies in advance.

definitely won't need spacers. Good chance they will rub the fenders with those tires. Might try asking this guy:

I don't think they'll rub the fenders. My car isn't lowered and the tires don't rub now with current 17 inch s-lites. I don't think a 1/2 inch wider should make it rub. Thoughts?

S-lites are 17x7 et50 I believe. Your looking at 17x7.5 et 20. That means they will extend out a full 1.5" more then the s-lights. Yea there is a good chance they will rub. The guy in the link I posted is running a 195/40 tire, probably to deal with that extra poke.

Will the tires be really stretched then or is it safe?

The manufactures specs on the 195/40/17 yoko sdrive (again thats from the link I posted) says 6.5-7.5 wheels. They look slightly stretched in the picture in the link.

Really IMO if you want a wheel you can just throw on and not worry about this isn't it.

Yea, I see what your saying, but I mean on the 205-45-17 tire that I currently have would the stretch be that bad.

Its extremely unlikely a 205/45 will stretch on a 7.5" wheel.

Okay I'll probably just call ESM tomorrow to see if they know if they will rub or not with the stock suspension. Hopefully they have dealt with this in the past.
