Helllpppp

I am sorry to post this as I'm sure it has been addressed but everything I've seen has been a dead end...

I have an 08 Clubman S. I purchased some Motegi wheels and they came with the "tuner?" lug bolts because the holes in the wheels are too small for the stock lug bolt. Problem is, they only have about 22mm of thread and don't give me an over abundance of confidence as they don't grab a lot of thread.

Now, I had a machinist make some 5mm wheel spacers for me. Problem is, the lug bolts are too short to mount the wheels with the spacers. I have searched for 6 weeks with no luck on longer lug bolts. I thought I had found some and ordered from a wheel place in NYC and was shipped the incorrect thing and STILL trying to get my money back for their mistake. Of course what they advertised and what I was sent wasn't even close as I was sent the EXACT same thing I currently have.

Where can I get lug bolts with about 33mm of thread? PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

Maybe go with a stud conversion kit?

I'd try alex at TireRack for all things tire/wheel related, they may be able to help.

+1, I went with the stud conversion kit and found it very easy to use. I prefer this to the lug bolts.

did you have any issues with torquing the studs to the right level? Was Loc-Tite used as well?

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping not to have to pay that kind of money to run spacers but it looks like I'll have to.

You don't have to torque the studs into the hubs very much - 10 ft-lbs of torque and red Loc-Tite is all you need. Then use 88 ft-lbs of torque to fasten the nuts to the studs.
