What size Blizzak tires did you order for your MCS?
I ordered 16" Kosei wheels with my winter package of Blizzaks LM 122s. The package set up is EXCELLENT. Call Alex at Tire Rack. He's also a sponser on this forum.......He will help you out with everything. Also, don't forget to order the wheel centers.
215/45HR17
Blackwall Price: $143
I have a set of ROH Adrenalines(17 x 7) in black.... for the winter months.
Used them for this 1st snow storm here in NY, and they were...terrific

Peace,
D

I opted for the 15" Blizzaks on steelies as well. With the wheel covers they don't look half bad and I won't worry about bending an alloy every time I hit one of the all-too-frequent NJ potholes. At $547 delivered, not a bad deal at all.
I went for the 15" blizzaks. They seem to fit well and I haven't had any problems so far:

215/45QR17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s at $122.00 each.
They're shipping mounted on 17x7 ASA LS5s ($155.00 each).
With the long New England winters, I couldn't deal with steelies or small, crappy-looking wheels for months on end.

this is great !!! I just drove my MINI in about 1.5 inches on snow here in Indianapolis last night and got online to look for Blizzaks!!! I could barely get in my driveway !
We don't get a lot of snow here but I have strapped BLIZZAKS on my wife' PASSAT wagon every winter and love them !

I am not running Blizzaks, but I have tried the 205/50-17 size, so I have posted a few observations here. I intended to order a set of 215/45-17 WS-50's, but procrastinated to the point I had to hunt down what was locally available at the last minute before the first storm of the season hit- which turned out to be a good thing. (Photos of the tread design are available on the manufacturer's product page here: <http://www.vredestein.com/page_tyres...p;taalid=3>
Since they have a taller sidewall profile than stock, these tires do give a slight increase in ground clearance, which might be useful when the white stuff gets deep. Sometimes I beat the plows to certain roads near my home, so every little bit counts!
The other thing that going with the 17's did is give me a plausible excuse to buy a new set of lighter wheels. I'm considering either the Revolution RZX <http://www.revolutionwheels.com/motorsport.shtml> (No, not the bling-bling gold ones!)
or SSR's.
