Looks great!!! Colors? Weight? Cost?

I'm sure you meant 17x7.5, +ET40mm offset, huh?

Nice seven spoke design. Gotta price range?
Please post the weight-looks good though.
SSR has got some nice things in the pipeline.

that kinda looks like the SDR's. not bad, but 17x7, i have to lower the
mini to make it look good especially with 40mm offset. lowering my
mini ain't going to happen, so i could consider it for my wrx, but...

shucks, i wanted the professors!!!

I like these wheels a lot, but I have a feeling like every other SSR product they are going to be overpriced. Oh well, if they can sell 'em that high then more power to them. Guess I'll have to keep shopping or wait for a used set.

Just some words of advice from a guy who's on his 4th set of wheels. I would not recommend this wheel for anyone thinking of lowering their car with springs and using a 215/45-17 size tire. I recently purchased a set of Konig Imagine's in 17x7 with a 40mm offset. I had Yokohama Parada Spec II's in 215/40-17 with no rubbing issues at all with H-Sport springs. I just installed the 215/45-17 Pirelli PZero Nero's and I'm having rubbing issues on all fender flares. The SSR GT7 in a 7.5 width will cause nothing but problems using this tire size with lowering springs. The extra 1/2 inch width will cause the wheel to extend out further to the fender by 6mm. Just wanted to pass along the information to save some costly headaches.

tirerack had the GT7's listed under their interactive wheel selector, but they took it out... could this be the reason?

My 03 MCS has 17" S lite wheels on it and I'm getting ready to go up to either 18x7.5's w/215/35's or 17x7's w/215/45's. My question is, if I have 50mm of positive offset in my stock wheels how much offset should I aim for in the new wheels to avoid rubbing after I install my new springs? 35mm, 40mm, 45mm???

Thanks

I wish someone would answer my question. I'm looking at 17x7s 4x100 bolt, with a 40mm offset, and 205/40 tires.. Will I rub??!

Not really a fan of the Anthracite with the polished lip...I like the solid color wheels...just my opinion...

Doubtfull you'll rub, but 205/40 is short in diameter, and low in load.

I'm not a tire expert but for info I have Ace Alura 17 - 7.5 4-100 with 215/40zr-17 83w Yokohama avs es100 tires. No problems so far about 4,500 miles on them.

I may sell my rims as I really like the SSR GT7.
