Had Helix install their Stage 2 Brake Kit on Monday - Stop Techs with drilled rotors, ATE Super Blue fluid and beefy stainless lines. I was previously running their Stage 1 kit, but test drove Eric's MCS and was floored. The Stage 1 Kit is a nice improvement over stock, better pedal feel and power and Stage 2 is even more pronounced in the feel. I knew I wasn't going back to 16" wheels anytime soon, and there will be a point where I start tracking this car. And of course, I like the look...

What wheels are those, size, weight and where did you purchase them? I have been looking for wheels that work with the StopTechs but selection is very limited. I even sent a pdf. of StopTech's brake kit outline to Alex at Tire Rack and he said he had only one wheel that would fit without spacers, the ASA KA3 which weighs 22 lbs. :???:

dandp,

Nice front brakes but what do you have in the rear wheel for brakes?
Did you by chance weigh the stop tech brakes and compare the difference of the increased sized rotors, calipers and hardware (brake pads and brake linings) vs stock parts?

Also very nice pictures of your wheel and brake set up.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Minihune, rears are still stock. I didn't weight the setup, but the Stop Tech calipers are a different material than the stockers and weigh less. Rotors are heavier I believe, but I can't get you specifics - Eric @ Helix might know.

And I forgot to include originally that I am using spacers on this setup.
