In a dilemma... (Help choose my wheels!)

So im not trying to spend alot of money on wheels (yet.. haha) cause i've got plans on a couple performance parts.

Anyways, im gonna be getting 25 or 15mm spacers along with some cheap wheels from tirerack (<120$ a piece)

My choice came down to these. Im leanin towards the rota D2's

Im really liking the black and red BUT the black & red wheels DONT look like the type of wheels that look good sticking out the fenders. And I really want to run big spacers v-dub style (I dont plan on doing autocross yet so im all for looks and speed now)

PICS OF MY CAR (sorry i dont have my own pics yet)

if ur trying yo get the stretch, poke look. u have to get a low offset, wide wheel. like 16x8 with a 20et. that will the wheels to stick out of the fenders a bit. then u will add some negative camber.. to get the look right u need be slammed!!! skinny wheels sticking out of the fender looks very wired especially not lowered..

It has a 0 offset. You'd probably need to run widened wheel arches to even have a chance at running an 8" wheel with a 0 offset.

Yeah but its on stock suspension and 16" wheels. If the car was lowered id probably need to widen wheel arches.

it's gonna look stupid with wide wheels and not lowered.. and those are 0et like vic said u will need widened arches.. those will look horrid with out wide arches.. it will not look right with stock arches.. I think 15et is already pushing it.

Im gonna buy the last wheels and no spacers. But 2 people said ill need widened arches? I dont see why i'd need widened arches if theres already a gap between the wheels and the arches.

Im ready to order them tommorow.

Are you sure you really want to go that route? I think there's plenty of people with experience shooting for the stretch/poke look that could tell you it's going to be a lot more involved than just strapping those eBay wheels on. You will have clearance issues; you're increasing your 'poke' by more than 60mm...with no suspension changes you're just going to tear your wheel arches to shreds.

Maybe do some more research on how other people have managed to set up really aggressive fitments before you throw down money on a set of wheels. Whatever you decide, good luck getting the look you want, and be sure to throw up pictures of the results.
