But its more personal opinion. What ever you think would look best.

Same here if mostly stock exterior with black roof.

BUT - If you have painted Dark Silver wheel arches and OEM chrome....then I would choose #1.

On choice no. 2, are the sides of the spokes painted black? If so, no. 1 is better imo. I also agree with Gray Raven. Without pics of the car, its hard to visualize what looks better for your ride. Good luck.

I like Number 1, then again it may be cause I just picked up a set and they are sitting in my basement. As everyone else has said, its all personal

i think im going to go with option 2 as some recomended. getting them in 18's with tires shipped for $1100. plus they kinda match the car color. this second rim is machined.

I'd pick the lighter ones. Wheel mass really affects the performance in a low-powered car like the Mini.

#2 looks like a lighter wheel
Better tire selection in 17 inch.

#2 looks good by itself, but I think #1 will look better on your car, I think all-silver wheels look nice on gray/silver cars...

If for no other reason I would go with #2 simply for the ease of cleaning compared to #1... I had a set of the #1 on a Jetta. What a pita it was cleaning those hex nuts. Plus the added concern of cleaning and bending
the lip.... pretty easy choice for me

Im not sure about dark wheels w/ a white roof. I like the lip on #1 as well.

Definitely with the white roof #1. I also like a lip on the wheel.

in all honesty, i dont think either suit the Cooper S.... The 2nd ones look better suited out of the two, but both seem to look more for a sedan (like a 3er or a non-hatch car)

With the color combination you have, the chrome-look wheel just doesnt fit... With that white roof, maybe you want to look at something more refined..?

Lol, Daudi, that opinion would have been more useful BEFORE he bought them and put them on, no? I think the wheels look good, Slim!

oops! .. didnt realize he had already bought them, didnt pay attention to the dates.

they look fine, really.. i wouldnt be mad if i were stuck with them, i was only pointing out that for a cooper S, there are better options (oem options especially.)

damn Daudi, you broke my heart man lol. really though, i appreciate the comment but it is a done deal. they're already on the car. looks great in person. i've been debating about painting the white part of the car black, but i had friends tell me not to do it and that it looks really good in white.
