Anyone running ADR wheels or know anything about ADR wheels? I really like the look of the ADR Fuel wheels.

i had a set of ADRSokudo's on my previous Protege5. the wheels look great but
the paint chips like hell. Even after one tire installation, the paint around the
rim where the mounting tool rubs the rim while installing the tire scraped off.
its not visible from the front, but i could see it the streak when looked at the
wheel from an angle. there was nothing but primer left. The lug holes were
also chipped after one removal from the car... man, i was so surprised to see
such low quality paint job this day in age.

Here are some tips:
1. Don't change tires or remount from car often.
2. Try to find tires with rim protector to cover up the streak around the
rim from the mounting tool.
3. Use only car soap solution to wash, DO NOT use any paper based wipes
the paint is easily swirled unlike powdercoated wheels.

The wheels itself were durable in terms of handling road hazards though.

Thanks for the reply Kenchan

I would prefer an unpainted wheel with a polished rim, but it seems as though most companies all want to paint their wheels these days.

Maybe I can get them chromed.
