Will 15" Konig Rewinds fit an R56 Cooper?

I'm looking at some 15" Rewinds with 205/50/15 Snows on from another member and I'm wondering if they'll fit on an R56 without modifications?
Any help is appreciated. As usual.

If your car is a Cooper & not an S they should clear the brakes. The question is, will the 14mm lug bolts work with them?

From what I understand, the R56 Cooper front brakes are the same size as the ones on my R53 MCS.

The front ones on an R56 MCS are larger & equal in size to the JCW brakes for the R53.

I hope that helps...

^^^ Yup.

so the original OP may have to either convert to 12mm lugs or drill the rims out, if the holes are not adequate for the 14s

Some of the older wheels will accommodate 14mm lug bolts without modification. Some wont.

I've never seen Rewinds on a second generation Mini. Alot of first gen's have their pictures out there. Besides the calipers and lug diameter, are the control arms a problem area also? Not many 15 inch wheels fit the 2nd gen for this reason. I have seen Rota RB's on 2nd gen Mini's but they are 16 inch. Any more comments on Rewinds (control arms, calipers, lug bolts) on 2nd Gen's - and are there pictures of 2nd gen's with Rewinds out there? I prefer Rewinds to RB's and would like to perhaps get some for my 2008 Base. Thanks.
