I may be losing out on some used SSR Comps (17x7) being relpaced off an MCS. I was going to spend $900 on the set and if I have to buy new wheels I guess I'm willing to spend $1200-1300. Can any one suggest similarly styled wheels, light in weight and perhaps available in polished or anthracite? Tall order?

are you looking for good looks or more functionality?

If you go to Webbmotorsports and selection suspension you get the wheels he sells which include the AK Tire Monza which in 16" is about right for low cost and light enough weight with good performance and Legal of autocross.

Also some good tires Falken Azenis available.

If you are going more for looks then check with Edgeracing and Tirerack for options. You mentioned lightweight so I thought you were going with performance.

Well since you were looking at the SSR comps I'm guessing you were looking for a forged wheel.

In 17x7 I'd suggest the Centerline RPMs
In 16x7 I'd suggest one of the many Volks - TE37s are my personal favorite.

Both of these wheels are some of the strongest on the market.

Minihune,

I need 17's and the Monza's Randy is selling are 16. I'm going for the look of SSR's and the performance, light weight! I like the 6 spoke design. The more complicated or higher number spoke wheels just mean longer cleaning time required. Of course a finish such as anthracite will hide the dust. My car is going to be black and I like the idea or polished rims. Do Centerline RPM's come in polished aluminum? What do they weigh?

Casey,

I hadn't seen your post until after I replied to Minihune. I'm going to the event in Tyler this weekend, perhaps we can talk about wheels and lots of other stuff!
