Take it as a sign to get rid of those crappy things. Get some better (and lighter) rims...Better yet, ditch the runflats.

Given how heavy they are I though they were milled from a solid piece of granite. You must be doing some Dukes of Hazzard type stuff to bend three of them.

i know thats what i was thinking how the hell could i bend 3 rims ... its nuts ... true but other circumstances prevent me from getting new rims mainly the $... what do you guys think of the side walks rims? ... the ac schnitzers i want are way to expensive and the same with the hammons ... i was on the show your rims post and i wanted to keep the ride the same so i didnt want to go with 18's and 40's ... trying to stay 17 with 45's... any recommendations?

I just ditched runflats and noticed how dinged my crown spokes are. I'm going for Rota RB's in a few months.

I'm a fan of most things BBS.
On the cheaper side of things I really liked the Konig Britelites and was going to get them but instead gave in to temptations when the LMs I have now came on the market.

I just recently replaced my S-lites because of catastrophic bending. I don't generally run over huge bumps or potholes, but some how the rims were bent all to hell. They were so bad that the entire car was vibrating. They seemed extremely easy to bend, and when I had taken it in to the dealer when I first got it, they warned me about the S-lites...

Crappy rim IMO.

yeah they wanted me to get rim insurance when i picked up my mini ... and i told them i have been driving on 18's with 40 pro and never bent a rim... now i know why... its just unbelievable that they wont admit its an engineering defect in the rim... well ill fight the good fight and see what happens

Does your car have a vibration issue, or is this just the dealer telling you?

I have bent one, think it was when I hit a pot hole (more like a sink hole) at around 20mph. Still feels fine though and the bend is slight.

When I had the pre purchase inspection done, we found two 'out of round'.

I replaced with new set of R105.
