Finally got my new wheels....They are MOMO X-1 with Falken Zeix ZE-12 215/45/17. I got rid of the 18" and went back to the 17" Guess I'm getting to old cause I just didn't like the way the 18"s rode.

Nobull,

Those look good. Are you going to have the inserts painted EB or leave them silver. I have a Chili Red MCS and considered using these wheels and painting the inserts red.

See ya,
JS

looks good! what wheel offset are those momo's? 215/45/17 looks even
better than 205/45/17's.

I think they look better than 18"
Probably better ride and less weight than the 18"
Great clean 5 spoke design.
Very deep. I like the lone valve stem.
Execellent. 7.5 or 8" deep rim?

To answer some of your questions on these rims....

NFO..Full pictures of the car coming this week.

Zamirz...Not sure what color to paint the calipers now. I liked the red but not sure if I like them now. Anyone else had any ideas on caliper colors??

Jstines...yes the inserts are paintable.

Kenchan...offset is 45mm these are MOMO's not very lite in weight. I beleive they are about 7 pounds a wheel lighter then the s-lites.

minihune...7.5 deep rim

Got a lot of cleaning to do in the wheel wells. So pictures of the finished product will be this weekend. Please be sure to check back and take a look.

Full shots as promised of my MINI. And did you ever think that the SSR GT1 copied the MOMO X-1 ??? And YES I am going to repaint the calipers. Probably black. Also got new slotted and cross drilled rotors to install next week. More pictures to come.

Thanks but today I got a little surprise as I was washing them I found one wheel has ove 23 grams of weight on it and the other three have around 6-6 grams. What's up with that. Going back and getting that taken care off. Any ideas out there??

Have the tire shop mark where the tire is mounted in relation to the wheel on the hevily weighted wheel, then unmount the tire and rotate the tire 180 degrees and rebalance.

Ask for a match mounting, and a road force balance.

Alex
