Lowest Offset Wheels On R56

Just wanted to see what are some of the lowest offset wheels that you guys are running out there? Please post pics if any. If there are some with wheels less than 35mm, please post as well. Would like to see pics on stock suspension too if any.

I have came across a set of wheels that I may pick up, but it has an extremely low offset of 32mm, so not sure on how that would look and how much that would stick out, because I don't want to have the 4x4 big-foot wheel look on the Mini.

Thanks everyone!

Why run such low offset wheels on stock suspension? I'm all for running low aggressive offsets on wheels, but you REALLY need coilovers to pull off the stance properly. Without lowering the car, low offset wheels look really really bad.

I run et33 on my R55 (same as r56) and I ran et8 on my R50.

ET33, but keep in mind that there is lots of camber tucking them in. (and it's lowered as I would never drive a stock ride height car)

Et14 up front et8 in the rear....again with camber.

Thanks for the input and pics guys, looks like I'll just have to pass those wheels up and find me something else. I don't plan on dropping too soon since my sister uses the car sometimes too, and she's not the greatest driver in the world, , but I still want to look for some wheels that would flush the fenders as close as possible without the extreme drop.

Those are some nice cars in the pics above by the way, good job

You'll have to resort to classified ad's because the wheels haven't been made in years. They were also completely custom with aftermarket lips and bolts. Stock the wheels are 15x6.5, but I widened them to 15x8 and 15x8.5.

I found 15x8 rims on wheelfire.com(http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wh...cleOption=Base)

What size of the tire should i get that will make my car look like your old car's tires, they have 195/60/15. Will that make the look?

205/50. but the tires don,t make the look. the ride height and the wheel fitment make the look, the tires just make the look possible. rally's old car was probably 3 inches lower then stock with a wheelbase 4 inches wider.

Is it possible to run the same ET as your R50 on a R56? I'm thinking of getting vmaxx coilovers and I love the stance on your R50.

There's no reason you couldn't. It'll probably rub...but obviously mine did a bit too.

Same et on the clubman...but different widths.

r50 had the original first edition Megans which went lower than any of the following Megan coilovers. I wouldn't suggest them anymore if you want to go lower because they made them taller.

What coilovers out there can get me the lowerst? I was thinking the vmaxx, or do you suggest something with adj. dampening?

Vmaxx works if you're on a budget (i'm running vmaxx struts) or kw's.

You don't really need the adj dampening if you're throwing it on your daily driver.

Thanks for the help Rally! I love the stance on both your minis! I can't get enough of your woodgrain clubman! That is top-notch work my friend

Rally, do you have control arms (lower, upper, or both) to help with the camber on the clubman?

Nah, I'm still rocking the natural camber. Close to 6 degrees now that I lowered the car more

You can kinda see the camber in these pics

Do you think I will have any rubbing issues if I run a 17x8 front and 17x9 rear with a et 14 all the way around? I want that deep dish look. I don't mind a little rubbing just nothing excessive.

I'd go a little higher on the offsets if you can. Get them in the low 20's
