I was just wondering, if you could repaint, painted wheels?
EG: my silver "S" lites, could I have them painted white?

If any one knows about this, I appreciate the response.

Thanx,
Glenn

You can Paint or Powdercoat them. Powder coating tends to be more expensive where I live.

Thanks!
I'll have to check 'round town, to see if anyone does it.

My wheels started out as standard OZ Crono Evo's in silver. First they needed to be bead blasted at $60 per wheel, than taken to a powder coater at $60.00 a wheel and than I had the powder coater guy clear coat them, another $60.00 per wheel. All total it was an extra $180 per wheel, it gets kind of expensive once you include the price of the wheel. I love the results I got, just make sure you really like what you are about to do, it can be an expensive lesson that you will live with for a long time!

Mgear,
Your wheels are gorgeous, does brake dust tend not to stick to them or is it still a problem after powder coating?
I noticed my stock S-lites were like brake dust magnets. I have polished centerline RPMs now and they are much much better.

wow!
sounds like it would be cheaper to buy whites in the first place!
I guess I have to rethink my wheel decisions

Thanks Minihune, I also installed the greenstuf brake pads and waxed the wheels too. I have to say I am very surprised at how clean they stay. Sure, a little of brake dust shows up but the five spoke design of the wheel creates a larger enough space allowing your hand to get inside and wipe it clean if they do get dirty. However all that said the Mini is not my daily driver so the mileage stays low, plus I am a bit fanatical about keeping the car clean.
