Replaced run flats with UHP now pull to right when accelerating

I just replaced my Dunlop Run Flats on my R56 with 215/45/17 General Exclaim UHP tires. I like the ride and they balanced well however now whenever I accelerate hard I feel a pull to the right and then when I let off the accellerator there is a pull to the left. (I did not notice this pull with the Dunlops). The car tracks staright under constant velocity even with no hands on the wheel so I do not think it is an allignment issue.

Is the torque steer more pronounced with the Exclaims due to the softer side wall. I have checked the tire pressure and it is the same all round. It was initally 35psi and I just recently increased it to 40psi.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Sometimes there is enough variation in individual tires to make a difference in traction. Try rotating your tires and see if there is any change. Because the Exclaim UHP is unidirectional, you'd do a front-rear swap. I'd start with swapping just on the right side and see what happens.

ivan308, I have those same tires on my 07 MCSC and I have not noticed any pull at all. Have you taken it back to where they were installed? Are they all the "same" tire and are they on the car correctly, I mean rotating in the right rotation direction? Good luck on getting this resolved. I hope it all works out.
