I've been very pleased with them for DEs. I think they are over-kill to putz around on the street though.

Why is that? I think they're only about $20 each over stock rotors.

I had a set of these, one of the fronts developed a very large crack after only a couple of track days. I recommend plain blank replacement rotors.

While Jason, did have a bad rotor, it was a bad rotor. For those running track events monthly I too would recommend plain rotors from your local parts store. Track events are very hard on ALL rotors and given the price of replacement going with local parts store rotors would be best.

However for Street and or AutoX the TSW rotors are very good and look great too.

Did the crack start at one of the slots? How did you bed the rotors?

The crack did not appear to start from a slot. My bedding procedure was to gradually bring them up to temperature to properly season them. No harm was done, the crack was found before I had a complete failure. This served as a good reminder to me to give my car a through inspection before each trip to the track. I think this holds true no matter what mods, or who's parts are on the car.
