Konig Feathers, opinions?
Ok, that worked!
Now for a little suspension modding
.
First thing I noticed with new wheels is quicker outta the hole. Second thing is quieter. Third is quieter. Fourth is that the car is slightly smoother.

Woohoo, just went for a good spin.
Thanks for the compliment Boxcars. There seemed to be no problems so far on the car or while installing (other than resetting the tire pressure indicator).
They took about half a week to order but there was a set locally. Other than that I think they are on backorder everywhere (at least for the 16" silver).
The tires took a lot longer to get here but after a little over a week, they arrived.
Running BF Goodrich UHP a/s
Good luck...

Any pics yet. You know I have been waiting for you to get these.
Been awhile since I promised to upload pics, huh?
But here they are.. Full set here (10).
First, thoughts -
Finish + overall quality very good, and they look great in person. I'm glad I went with the gold, altho it's pretty "loud" for me. Offset is good, I'm still running my 5mm spacers all around. Rear tires rub on outside plastic fender with a carload. I drove to Chicago and back (900mi each way) and it rubbed over hard bumps, the fender plastic is shaved off, onto the tires in concentric circles.
But this ain't a negative, I'm low + the spacers, fit is perfect.
One negative? I already rashed one wheel! The rear one in these pics, see if you can see it. Turns out with 215/45/R16s, the spokes still poke out. I had the wheel standing up during a wheel change, and it fell face forward, scarring each and every spoke. My stupidity, but I think I'll try for 225s next time around to avoid future accidents. I think a wider tire would also look better aesthetically (215 = just right for the 7" wheel, but I prefer either a tiny bit of stretch or alternatively a little tire bulge).
Still holding up fine since I threw them on a month ago. Just cleaned them for the first time, was a breeze and they're good to go. Onto the pics..

so what is the definitive answer on the R56/R55 fitment on these Feathers.
I really would like to get a bronze set for my Hot Chocolate Clubman
where are you guys getting your Konig Feathers for 17" I have seen a great price at performanceplustire.com for $133 each and they have a local location in Long Beach about 40 Miles from me? Any other good places to get them? Are most people using spacers? Did the center caps come with the wheels? What types of tires are you guys using, I was thinking of Yokohoma S Drives, Falken, or BFG. I live in Socal so I was thinking of Summer type of tires with a 300-380 wear rating.
they look great.
i really like the look of 16s on your car.

I just bought a set of 16 inch Feathers last week so I really can't comment on how well they hold up but, I will say that when inspecting the wheels I was going to buy, the finish was flawless. I bought mine from Good-win Racing. (www.good-win-racing.com).

f-n gorgeous.
great choice

Those look excellent RedSkunk!!! Ohhhh now I wanna lower mine!!! What are you using to drop yer Mini?
I really like these wheels and the ride of the BF Goodrich's are excellent. I don't feel like I've lost anything in day to day "spirited" driving.
Cheers
