Need Black 17" Wheels with Chrome Lip - Ideas?

I recently purchased my 06 R53 about 4 months ago. So far I have installed the Borla Exhaust, Webb Motor CAI, 15% pulley, and plan to do lowering springs, short shifter, rear sway, and crank pulley in a few weeks. It is almost summer here in Colorado and I really want some sweet 17" wheels that are black with a chrome lip. Not sure what brands to trust or what style's that fit well with the Mini so far. Can anyone please share thier taste, experience, pictures, and anything else. Thank you so much!

Jared

Nope, that's an R53.

R56 is an MCS or MC, non-Clubman from 07-08

Unfortunately, no.

Might be thinking about some lightweight 16" anthracite w/ polished lip myself in the next few months. Let us know if you find anything good.

rota sub zero's. good, strong, cheap and some decent style with the colors you're looking for.

for a BRG i personally wouldn't go black... the colors are too close... that's just me

to me, BRG has to go with a gold wheel... classic brit style

I run a set of Enkei J10's and find that they are very well built. The ones that you've picked out look really nice but, not much fun to clean !

My summer rims are Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 w/ Polished Lip. I have a DS/B 2006 MCS and I think they look great. I got them from OutMotoring.

Here is a link to a picture of the rims.

I really like the Team Dynamics Wheels and the ASA's.

Tom, Do you have a picture of them on your car? I would love to see that! Thanks!

When making my choice I had it narrowed down to either the Team Dynamics or Rota Slipstream. I found a good deal on the Rotas first so I went that direction. But both are good, lightweight and relatively inexpensive.

After considering all the things that seem to be important (dish, color, spokes, and price), these are 4 options that I have finalized my pick to (Venti, Tenzo, R1, Enkei)

Those Enkei's look nice to me. As mentioned, they'd prolly be a PITA to clean, but at least the spokes are gunmetal rather than silver/white/chrome.
