Keep 'Em or Powder Coat 'Em?!?!

I just bought these rims with the intention to powder coat them white. I was thinking white because it would stick with my blackout and white theme. Everything blacked out, and a white roof, mirrors, stripes, and wheels. What does everyone think? I'm torn. And I will be doing the Joey Mod in a couple of days.

Maybe its just the pics but it doesnt look like they match the body color very well, so I would power coat them.

I drive an Astro Black car. That's what it looks like in the light. Midnight Blueish Blackish. Only one comment? Anybody else? The white would pop a little more, and go with my roof, mirrors, and stripes. Come on people, tell me what you think!

Keep'em and get your brake calipers powder coated white.

I'm doing this with my newly Black P/C'ed S-Lites

White would look nice, but they are a PITA to keep clean.

Could the calipers be clear coated...or treated to make easy work of brake dust?

Awesome! I've always wanted to see a nice black and white with mods. Powdercoat them white and get black roof stripes!

I've got the Driver's Edge Stripes that will go all the way back, with the black on the roof. I just haven't had time to install them or get them installed. I know white is a pain to keep clean, but I just think it would set it off! I did think for a moment about doing white calipers, but I think for me the wheels would be better, and the calipers would go black.

I will install stuff when I get over the flu. The stripes I am a little worried about, but I think I should be ok. Don't worry it is coming along, slowly but surely!!

Black is mine as well. Perfect size wheels/tires + drop, btw. Awesome look

Nice badge as well, I have the same one.
I think your MINI is one of the first I've seen with 2 badge holders. I didn't even know that was possible; sweet!

Thanks! I have decided that I am going white! I just think it is gonna set the car off! Plus my wife is even on board with me on this one. For once! So I will be sure to post pics when it all gets done on this thread. Just for comparison. Thanks all for your replies!

Those particular wheels with all of those spokes, edges, and crevices are going to be very difficult to keep looking good if you go with white. Although if you don't drive it much or will be dedicated to cleaning them every few days, then go for it. Just know ahead of time that you'll be in for plenty of detailing work and hopefully won't regret it afterwards. I agree that it would look good in white, though.

I've had a set of white wheels on a car, and probably wouldn't do it again.
