Best forged wheels

Can you guys give me a list of manufacturers that make the best forged wheels available for the Mini? I have Volks myself, but curious about other brands....I really like Advan wheels, but if I'm not mistaken, they do not make forged....TIA!

Few more...

Fikse, Dymag (CF rim, magnesium centers), Boze Alloys, Weld Racing, Schmidt, BBS.

What are you looking for, quality, price, design, track use...

Lots of really good wheels out there, only limit is the wallet.

Interesting. That site says the GP wheels are only 19.8 pounds a pop. That doesn't sound "heavier than crap" to me like everyone says they are.

Ohhh.. as PGT will tell you I've been contemplating a set of BBS forged wheels for my MINI. They're saucy - just got to find the right reseller to buy them from - tire rack is crazy $$$ for what I want.

Woah...thanks for the suggestions. When I say BEST I mean a balance of light weight, strength, and good looks, but of course looks are subjective, so weight and strength are necessities.

setuning.com is a great website. I wish I saw this site before getting my rims.

I really like the HRE Comp Series. Do they make em in 4x100? Anybody running these?

Longboard, I've always liked your rims! How much?

To a point looks are subjective obviously....but with things like finish or quality of manufacturing that are still aesthetic qualities but are less subjective. It's better to have a nice powdercoat finish rather than a thin cheap paint or something.

I only know of one person running HRE currently (i think his name is bean?)...otherwise they're a little too expensive for most MINI owners. They will make them in whatever lug patter you want....they're completely custom to your specs. At a thousand dollars a wheel..you better get whatever specs you want

Im running HRE's "C-20" wheels (part of thier Competition wheel series) in a 18"x8 size. I belive im the only MINI around with these wheels! (I LOVE originality!) These are not only absolutly beautiful, but light @ approx 19lbs. Not only that, but ive hit many a pot-hole and theyve held up well. They are still like new almost a year later. My ASA wheels on the other hand were both bent (the fronts) only over a month after mounting them on the car. Not to sound cocky or anything, but i do get tons of compliments on the car when she's clean, and i swear its the wheels she wears that gives her the attention You have to pay to play as they say ...

It's unfortunate the forged BBS wheels that are available for the BMW 3-series (and the one that I really like) aren't available for the MINI.
