British beauties for my British beauty

I'm so exited, I just wanted to share with everybody my set of new (to me) wheels: Minilites! They are 16x7, 40th anniversary editions. I just have to do a little refurbishing work on them and they will be ready for summer.

Now I have two new sets of beautiful wheels for my MCSC

THE classic mini wheel - Minilites
THE classic MINI wheel - R81's

Thanks for listening,
Erik

4 questions.
1. Do they come in 17"?
2. Do they come in black?
3. Where did you get them?
4. Are there any more available?

Haven't checked for a while, but here's what I know from a while back:

1. No. Only 16x7
2. No.
3. The company in Florida that used to be mymini.com sold/sells them. I can't recall what the new name is, though.
4. Prolly.

I also shod a set of the 16x7 40th anniversary MiniLites. I put Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S 205/60-17s on them. The tires are great real smooth with great wet traction, and plenty of dry grip. They seem tall at first but settle in to roughly the same rolling diameter of the normal range of OE MINI tire sizes.

The 40th Anniversary's come only in 16x7, silver or white. There are 17" Minilites but they look very different. I got them from Pete at Minspeed, they were the set off of his MINI and he gave me a really good deal. He only has one more set, in white but he can order more but he told me that it will take a while since production is spotty. He also has a set of 17" on sale at his place. Pete is a great and very kind guy to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again.

Thanks for the kind words everybody, hope to have them on this spring!

Erik

I'm asking these questions coz my classic has 12" Minilites on it, and having the 03 with the same design wheels would be pretty cool. However I REALLY like the look of the black wheels I currently have on the MINI.
