Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 ...What Offset do I need???

Hi guys, finally I bought the "GALFER" Evolution BBK (330mm*30mm)(2600Euros). Probably some of you won´t know this company, but it is one of the most important brands. All their calipers are made by AP Racing, and their Discs are produced by BREMBO. I just installed them and now I have a Big problem , I have to use 15mm spacers with my O.Z Crono HT 18" 42Offset and my wheels are 0.5 cm outside of the car. I´m gonna sell them and buy 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2,but first, I would like to know what Offset would I need. I´ve been measuring the distance from the middle of the disc to the outside part of the caliper, and I would need around 4.8cm-5cm clearance so that they could fit without spacers. Maybe someone with Stoptech or Brembo, could measure it, so that I could compare it with my GALFER BBK.

THANKS!

The old GALFER BBK used to have the AP Racing logo on their calipers.

Soon you´ll have them in the U.S: www.Galferusa.com

Apparently (so I have heard) Team dynamics Pro Race 1 are more BBK friendly.

Those are fantastic looking brakes by the way. Do they come with slotted rotors instead of drilled?

The competition Kit (Evolution) is with drilled rotors, there is another kit that is one step below (Evo-R) that comes with both Drilled and Slotted.

The problem is that I don´t know where to fin Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 in Europe so that I could buy them online, and send them to Spain.

I'm sure if you just call Team Dynamics they could set something up for you. I hear the best offset for pro race 1 is 45 with a 7X17" wheel. Do you track the car much? I read the specs and they're some serious brakes! 30X330mm is huge!

Yes, now I know I have two options:

TD Pro Race 1 +45 Offset (People with Stoptech said they have 7-8mm clearance..is that true, mine are 3-4 mm wider than stoptech)

TD Pro Race 1.2 +33 Offset

Don´t know what to buy?...

I would go with Pro Race 1 myself. I'm not sure what kind of clearance you would get with Pro Race 1.2. I like the styling of both, however.

I know this thread has to do with 17" Pro Race 1.2s clearing a BBK, but I have a set of 15x7" Pro Race 1.2s with a 30mm offset on my xA. Would those clear the stock brakes of an R56 MCS? If so, would it fit nicely or stick out too much?

Thanks

I have my doubts about a 15 inch wheel fitting on R56 stock brakes. They are the old R53 JCW brakes and those only fit on a select few OEM 16 inch wheels. If they do fit it would be REALLY tight.

that's more to do with offset than size. quite a few 15" wheels fit over the brakes (no guarantees on 14mm bolts though)....Volk TE37, OZ Ultraleggera, many Compomotives, etc. I'd love some TDR Pro Race in 15x7....just need to know if they clear.
