I can't decide which one. Does anyone have a pic of pure silver with either
17" ar1's or ar2's? Thanks for your opinions

 

Looks like the only difference is weight.

The AR2's have a polished face and anthratic behind. The AR1's are painted with a polished lip. I don't think the slight weight difference is an issue to me.

 

AR1's would be my choice.

 

i've got the ar2's and it's drop-dead gorgeous on black. sorry the pix don't do it justice... cameraphone. and it's in dire need of a drop... but that's coming soon.

 

I too am loking at ASA rims, AR2 looks like the ticket on my Laser Blue Mini.
My question, what Tires are you running? I'm looking for a summer tire, I already have Continental runflats for my winter driving. Also 16 or 17?

 

Nice car!!They do look killer with black. If they were silver instead of anthratic it would be a no brainer for my car.

probably. it's pretty miniscule... i'll have to get good quality pictures soon. you'll see machined/anthracite is the way to go.

actually... go with silver!!! i want to be one of the few mini's with machined/anthracite
