I've been using the ones from Texas Speedwerks with no issues. But really and decent set will all work the same.

I disagree about all the same. I got a set from Pilo Racing....it's poop (threads didn't hold it very well). Dan got me a hardened 'race' quality set for a few bucks more...they've held up great.

The black oxide coating on my TSW studs developed rust blooms on the surface almost immediately, but I've had no problems with the fit or function. The threads are holding up well, and you can tell they're well-made parts from how smoothly the nuts thread onto the studs.

I wasn't too disappointed about the finish, because I knew from the start that these pieces were more functional than cosmetic. I periodically wire-brush and oil the *exposed* threads after tightening the nuts, and that's kept them looking good.

uhh....that's black oxide, not an anodized finish. black oxide doesn't last. anodizing is for aluminum only and I'd be worried if the TSW stud kit was anything but steel

Sorry - brain fart - I've got anodizing on the brain after reading a different thread. Yes, the TSW threads are black-oxide coated. I'll change my post.

Thanks!

The TSW studs look ok but are not long enough for 15mm spacers, which is what you want to run up front...

The OP said nothing about using spacers. I know they do work with a 5mm. Not sure why you want a 15mm spacer.

As far as the bloom on the TSW studs go I don't get it. Since I'm changing wheels quite often I put a very small amount of anti-seize on the studs. the application from May of this year is still holding up fine with driving in all kinds of weather and multiple track days.

+1 for the Turner Motorsports, and one or two of our club members also got them after seeing mine. The 75mm ones should be fine with up to 15mm spacers, too, if that's of any consideration.

The Texas Speedwerks studs weren't out when I got the Turners (TSW actually directed me to TMS), but I'd just as easily recommend theirs.

Ok.....went to both sites and I have a question.

Is the price at TMS for the studs per stud or wheel?

Has anyone had any experience with the black nuts at TMS?

I've got TMS studs on the front of my car - I got them before the TSW studs were out also! Excellent product.

I believe the price of $6.96 each is per stud.

No experience with the TMS lug nuts.

$7 a stud............!

Damn.............so what's the difference between your studs and TMS's...?

I assume I need the M12 studs.

Do you have a suggestion for some black nuts?

I have them. They have held the wheels on so far.

That ain't going to happen.

+1 For TSW 14mm studs and nuts. They work with 10 mm spacers or less.(depending on wheel thickness)
I have to use spacers to get a BB kit to fit with stock GP wheels. No spacers for track wheels.

Sorry Chuck, couldn't resist.
