Old wheels = big improvement

So, because Winter is getting ready to rear its ugly head soon, I cleaned the dust off my factory 16 in. 5 spoke wheels and swapped them for my 17 in. Flik FTD's. Good God, what a change. So much smoother, feels like it acclerates quicker, revs up more easily, even shifting is much better. The only tradeoff was it feels like I lost some steering response because I went from Toyo Proxes 4's to all season Bridgestones. I think I'll try to ditch the FTD's and come spring try for better built wheels, maybe the Team Dynamics like I wanted before.

Any time you increase the weight of the rotational mass of the car you decrease acceleration. Don't know about the shifting but ya extra rubber for the smoother ride and lighter rim do make a difference.
